This Full Moon also brings us a Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Aries. This will not be a full scale eclipse, it will be more subtle. It's called a penumbral eclipse. The outer shadow of the earth will slightly fade the moon happening between 6 and 10 p.m. EDT.
Known as the Blood Moon and the Hunter's Moon, the light of the moon traditionally has helped farmers finish up their work into the evening hours, and the early light of the moon after sunset allowed hunters to find their prey easier.
The Moon is in full strength. She is beginning her cycle through the cosmos once again in the first sign of the zodiac, Aries, while standing across the sky from the Sun in Libra.
The importance of becoming more assertive in what we are willing to do is potent now. This is a time of decisiveness and recognizing ourselves with greater awareness and intention. However, it's also important to be careful and not push too hard since independent opinions can clash. It's better to be open than to fester over ones own agenda.
The recent media frenzy in the US government’s political showdown reminds us that such large events can be a real circus. The spectacle and speculation of what the result will be, the anticipation, climax and resolution is not an unfamiliar format in the making of entertainment in Hollywood films.

Now, the Full Moon emphasizes beginning with a clean slate. All that is exposed and in our awareness we can now make firm decisions on. With the lunar eclipse we internalize and weigh the pros and cons to gain better understanding reaching deep down into our subconscious selves. Regarding leadership, it is important to understand your place and approach but it’s also important to note that being dictatorial or power-tripping leads to resistance. Though we want growth and are motivated to do and be according to our own understanding, we also have to consider where the other is coming from, otherwise the ball can be bounced back and forth between courts resulting only in a stalemate. Balance and compromise is key.
Showing your strengths and mental agility in business and when asked to take on leadership roles helps career. Do your homework and show an interest in learning new skills. Raising the bar gets you closer to your achievements now. Your mind plays a pivotal role, so get it in order.
What you show to the world and how others see you is important now. Your personality can shine. It is said that in the beginning was the word, and words can change everything.
Though love may be unpredictable for many now, that can be a good thing. Spontaneity and walking unexpected, unplanned routes brings an extra dash of interest to partnerships. Love is like philosophy, best enjoyed when explored with an open mind. The role you play in a relationship becomes more attractive. The power of your personality, especially your intelligence, gets noticeable attention. Also in friendships and relationships, it's important to note if you are choosing to be self-centered and selfish or you choose to co-operate.
