Jupiter stations Retrograde in Libra Astrology Horoscope for February 6 to June 9, 2017

Jupiter stations retrograde in Libra on Monday, February 6, 2017 at 1:52 am EST.

Jupiter will be retrograde in Libra for about 4 months until June 9, 2017!

Your beliefs, philosophy on life, spiritual understanding and worldview can change significantly during this period.

  • What is true? What is not?
  • What do you believe or not?
  • Is that choice destructive or does it bring harmony in the grand scheme of things?
  • What really is the other side of the story?
  • What is the truth?
  • What is the whole picture?
  • How do I relate to others?
  • What is it like from the other persons perspective?

These are just some of the questions that arise now.

Going within now, and reflecting on the meaning of life can enrich your imagination and literally change your experience of the world.

Changing your inner dialogue toward positive possibilities can be reflected in the world around you. Make that happen.

The Jupiter Retrograde reminds us that to evolve we must look at the whole picture. Looking back at what has been, and looking within, can lead to better answers and a much broader understanding of the meaning of life overall. Growth is inevitable. Use this time wisely.

Jupiter is the planet of expansion and though considered a lucky and positive planet, we must consider current major contenders as part of the whole package too. There has been some tension for some time with these planets, but through the lessons, the decisions and the changes we make, we can overcome the challenges and learn to be wiser.

Namely, now it is Pluto and Uranus at odds with Jupiter we must also consider that are highlighted during Jupiter’s retrograde cycle. Saturn in Sagittarius must also be considered from a holistic point of view now as well.

Venus in Aries as well brings a level of determination to reconnect with the energy of life and to bring more love into inspiring how we identify with ourselves and others. Make love not war.

Mars is also in Aries, along with Uranus as Jupiter begins his retrograde phase.

Jupiter retrograde indicates finding balance in your beliefs, in your relationships and your worldview are important areas of personal growth to address now.

While Jupiter is retrograde your philosophy on life is sure to go through a transformation. A great abundance of higher truths can be found through internal debates and reflection on life.

Reading and learning about philosophy, spirituality and world cultures is recommended to enrich your understanding of the world. A greater desire to travel to find fulfillment is likely. The experience of travel can teach you great lessons about humanity.

Jupiter retrograde in Libra can also indicate releasing biases you have about yourself and others, and can be helpful in removing self doubts and critical judgments.

In the grand scheme of things, the desire to believe in peace, honesty, truth, justice, fairness and equality gets more attention.

Dealing with bias is a very strong factor in how everything plays out in the coming months and can become more obvious that not everything is as it seems. Those leading a double life, or are hypocritical, may question their moral and ethical judgment.

With Jupiter at odds with Pluto and Uranus these days, it’s not so easy to tell what’s true and what isn’t. There are so many different points of view to consider and it takes effort to find our inner selves among the external pressures of the world.

While Jupiter is retrograde, it is recommended that you go within to find the truth. Getting back in touch with the importance of trustworthy personal relationships is important while Jupiter is retrograde as well.

Personal reflection is usually relegated to those that have more free time to ponder life. With so many provocative external pressures of the world around us, getting in touch with your own sense of reality will require effort to shut out the major distractions.

Because more people will be searching within to understand their truth and beliefs, more questions will arise about the validity and authenticity of information encountered externally, in the media and online.

With Pluto in Capricorn now, changes in politics, business, and the economy have a big impact on the world around us. While retrograde, Jupiter will come into exact precision with Pluto at the end of March, 2017 and I will talk more about that then.

The power of Pluto at odds with Jupiter retrograde is sure to bring up more scrutiny of words and secrets in the big leagues of politics and media. A look back can reveal many truths and untruths that were overlooked or intentionally hidden. Though the media will exhaustively repeat and extrapolate on what it has been for months, the debates will likely go much deeper with greater intensity.

Biased points of view in the media and political sphere can cause many to turn on each other. How the media covers stories, bias and double standards are likely to be talked about more in depth.

Censorship is likely to become a larger topic of discussion, and strong attempts to hide or silence information and points of view is likely.

Laws, policies and legalities are in focus. Justice, fairness, right and wrong are likely to be under greater scrutiny.

Who said what, and blaming others vs taking ones own responsibility for what is said and done are strong themes during this period.

Free speech concerns and conflicts in the media arise.

The need for diplomacy and understanding the role duality plays in our lives is emphasized.

Saturn in Sagittarius continues a blocked energy on immigration issues as well.

Uranus in Aries connects with Jupiter as well. Uranus in Aries reminds us to seek our individual freedom and identities in contrast to what we see happening in the big leagues of media, corporate and political power.

These times have many of us questioning our differences and similarities to others.

Beliefs about the world are often based on biased information. If you mainly watch a certain news channel, you’ll get a certain perspective on reality. If you watch another news channel you’ll probably get a very different, opposing perspective. If you go off the beaten path and watch alternative or independent news, you’ll get yet another perspective. So what really is the truth? It’s important to recognize how each side of the story may just projecting an intentional bias. When it comes to brainwashing, it’s those that are brainwashed that are always the last to know.

Retreating from the negative mindset that the chess game of politics the media propagates, and turning off the TV and avoiding the bad news will become more commonplace as a way for people to maintain their own individual sanity and sense of identity.

While Jupiter is retrograde, consider what information you pay attention to. Does it bring balance or imbalance to your life? How does the information you access, particularly in the media, benefit your life overall, or not? What information is a distraction from your higher wisdom?

Unfortunately, there is sure to be a lot of fear propagated in the media. Pluto rules our fears. But you have a choice. You can choose to get sucked into the fear, or you can choose to think for yourself and focus on making the world a better place.

As we well know, the media capitalizes on sensationalism to draw viewers attention. Try not to get caught up in the frenzied energy and fear. Think for yourself. Think better to create better.

With Jupiter retrograde in Libra, it’s time to take a step back and have a look at your own point of view, and consider where you may have picked up your own beliefs and biases from. Are your beliefs about the world based on what someone else told you to believe or a narrative that keeps repeating in the media?

The world is so much bigger than what we’re told. There’s actually a lot of good things happening in the world but we rarely hear about it. Feel good stories don’t draw the attention of crowds the way a train wreck does.

Consider whenever you study any subject at college or university, how much information there really is you had no idea you’d have to learn. Any subject you study will be much more in depth and extensive than you usually assume. Life is the same way. Where you look, what you study, what you question, who you meet, what you pay attention to, where you travel, it all shapes your worldview. Actively seeking better information will help you gain a more holistic perspective on reality.

The lesson with Jupiter retrograde in Libra is to make decisions, to not just follow the crowd, but to think for yourself, and to find ways to cooperate with others based on your best ability to recognize the truth.

Look deeper for more information to base your opinions on instead of just basing your opinion on sensationalized information and bias.

This is the time to decide for yourself what you really believe, and what is right and wrong according to your own ethics and morals.

As we have seen in many ways, it’s easy to get caught up in the crowd and follow along, but you don’t have to. You can decide for yourself what is right and wrong.

On both sides of the coin we hear people say, “I have to do this, or I have to believe that, or I have to support that because of this or that.” Well, no, you actually don’t have to do or believe anything just because you are told to or because of peer pressure. Free will is your birthright. You get to choose what you think and believe.

Libra is largely about relationships and finding balance. Jupiter retrograde in Libra says to free your mind and have a different look at how you relate to others and the world.

With Saturn in Sagittarius now, immigration issues, borders and travel will continue to be a strong area of focus.

The Moon in Gemini on this day connects nicely with the Sun, Jupiter and Uranus, but opposes Saturn. We are reminded to use emotional intelligence in how we think, feel, respond and react to the world. This is the beginning of a new look at life with a broader paintbrush and to honor our own identities.

Understanding how your own beliefs are shaped and formed will give you valuable insight and help you make better decisions.

The opportunities and lessons will come in time to help you better define what is true.

This is your time to be true to yourself and to relate to others in a more honest, fair and balanced way.
