There is good financial news now, which likely also includes positive change in your career and work environment. The conversations you are having are helping to clarify your direction. As you gain clarity in what you want, a path to your goals becomes clear.

The feel of the recent Full Moon in Scorpio stays with us, and its message is helped along by Mercury, moving into the sign of Taurus. This is the week to reach out and have talks where you need to. ARIES (March 21-April 19):
Your mind is on your money. You might think there are looming bills, but the resources you need are on their way. Conversations help reinforce that you are worth more than you might have been asking. Agreements can be reached this week that bring the promise of a pay-raise.

It’s officially a Full Moon in Scorpio on Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 11:35pm EST.

This is a super perigree moon. This full moon will be 30 percent brighter and appear 14 percent larger than other full moons giving us all a super connection to the moons energy. We’ll be seeing images of the moon in the news this weekend for sure. Tides are expected to be a bit higher as well.

The Bay of Fundy in Eastern Canada has the highest tides in the world, so they’ll surely enjoy the majesty of the ocean with slightly higher tides this weekend. The moon will look very larger especially when it appears on the horizon.

Waves crashing at night and a dark, mysterious castle on the hill remind us of Scorpio. Just what’s happening in the complex depths of the ocean and inside that castle?

This full moon brings us deep into the water. Our reactions will be more noticeably instinctual. Psychic insights will be heightened now.

Dreams may bring up a lot of what’s hidden. It won’t be uncommon to have dreams that have you worried about getting caught, or for revealing something that should have stayed below the surface; better kept a secret. You could be the one who is being asked questions but wish they would disappear, while some may be acting as the investigator. Either way deep values and concerns will be brought up. The inner and outer reality are noticeably intertwined, and transformed in the process having you debate what to keep quiet and what to reveal. Pay attention to the signs and symbols in your dreams and especially the feelings brought up in situations.  Themes of lies, jealousy and revenge won’t be uncommon. You may notice them in your waking life as well.

It could be a little wild this weekend. We know the Full Moon has a reputation for a bit of extra ‘lunacy‘, it may be a good time to stay in an watch a few vampire and werewolf movies to help avoid any strange happenings out and about.

Shows that deal with research and detective work will seem more interesting than usual. The Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock, Supernatural and the like would be great entertainment this weekend.

Some may notice conversations about ancient mysteries and the occult (what’s hidden) are intriguing but don’t jive so well with talking to those who are more rigidly religious. Arguments about what is and isn’t true could certainly create a wedge between people. The passions of opinion can flood the atmosphere; try to tame it when disagreements get heated. With Mercury in Aries as well, you’ll likely be tempted to speak up quickly, but it may be your best bet to bite your tongue. A lot of learning can take place in such conversations with others who aren’t afraid to ask questions.

There’s nothing wrong with asking questions. Remember, books were burned to keep people from learning more. It’s natural to wonder and grow. If you like to ask questions, while another is more closed to considerations, it’s best to keep quiet and to yourself if you know it could result in building walls rather than bridges. Someone may be noticeably closed to broader ideas to keep their worldview from crumbling. It’s their safety net, maintained for their own comfort. They have a right to it, even if you see through it’s superficiality or lack of substance. Being a good listener and respectfully taking it all in, deciding for yourself can be enough. Regardless, the conversations will likely get you to think more deeply, so in that, they are catalysts to inner transformation.

With Jupiter and the Sun so close in Taurus it is actually a good time to have a more grounding philosophy on life merge well with the deeper mysteries during this Full Moon in Scorpio. Explore to grow. A fountain of wisdom may be highlighted for you that could transform your beliefs about your place in the world. A personal renaissance can lift the veil. It is an auspicious time to discover ancient earth lore and magic.

It is a great time to explore mysterious subjects privately where you get to ask yourself the questions and decide for yourself without external interference or pressure. Alone is where even more learning can occur, than in conversation with another. Astrology is considered taboo by some, while others explore it with a love of the universe. It’s all about perspective. Reading late at night will be a lot of fun this weekend.

It’s a great time to get out in nature during the day and enjoy the blooming flowers and trees. Here we get to internalize our material surroundings and the feelings they evoke on a much deeper level. Our instinct to connect with nature is heightened now. It can be a religious experience.

The taboo subject of sex ruled by Scorpio, can be appreciated for it’s deeper spiritual significance seen in the beauty of the new life emerging in the plant and animal kingdom around us. Sex is instinct and alchemy. It is a magical force that merges pleasure, unites love, and creates new life. It is at the core of human existence. Without it we do not exist. It is that powerful and purposeful. Although it has been suppressed in society at different times, it will never go away.

Here we see the connections between the base of the chakra system with the third eye psychic center. The Kundalini, representative of the consciousness, and life force energy, rises through our system from our baser, instinctual nature at the root chakra, to the wisdom and intuitive, psychic center of the third eye. The snake is a symbol of the movement of kundalini energy and of Scorpio. Although the snake has been demonized in some cultures and myths, the snake is also seen as wisdom and healing in others. As it sheds it’s skin, it moves onto a new phase of life. With this Full Moon you are awakened to the depths of your inner world where transformation begins and creates change in the external world you live in.

You may enjoy trying or exploring Kundalini Yoga, or Chakra Yoga this weekend, as well as learning more about the concepts of Tantra.

By consciously recognizing your baser instincts that guide your actions and reactions, merging them with choices guided by higher wisdom, you become awakened to the complexity of your human nature.

In love, jealousy can certainly come up, but communication is the key. With Venus in Gemini, talking is important. Don’t jump to conclusions. Don’t accuse without having the information first, but also don’t investigate your partner to the extreme unless you want a stronger fortress to be built to protect from your detective work. Those in trusting relationships where you know each other well, won’t have to worry about such things. If arguments come up, they could lead to passionate resolutions.

It’s a good time to look for deals to save money. It’s important to be more careful with your finances now.

In this Documentary professors of physics and astronomy explore questions of the origin of the universe. Historical, religious views to scientific discoveries, here are presented some points from the documentary.

Establishing a relationship to nature, primitive people attempted to connect to the heavens as the home of the gods, to make sense of the universe. Simple structures were created, instruments of observation such as stonehenge were made to connect and observe the movements of the heavens.

Astronomy predicted the movement of the stars, while Astrology predicted how those movements affected us and the natural world. These ideas merged in the ancient mind.

Astronomers divided the sections of the sky as early at 6th century B.C. in what we now know as the constellations.

Ancient Greeks recognized two types of stars. Most were fixed, small and moved together, while a few were larger and seemed to move haphazardly. Five were visible to the naked eye. These were re planets which they named after their gods. Today we’re more familiar with their Roman designations: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn.

Ancient astronomy assumed a concept of the universe proposed by 4th century BC philosopher, Aristotle that imagined a world at the center of the universe, with the Sun, Moon and planets all revolving around it elegantly in perfect, crystaline sphere in layers.

1^st century astronomy Ptolemy’s system predicted the behavior of the planets. He attempted to accurately trace the paths of the planets using a measure of epicycles so he could predict their prescribed paths and changing velocities, reliably predicting the behaviour of the planets.

After the collapse of Rome in 476AD, Astronomy lost ground. Europe fragmented into smaller powers, and much of the wisdom of the Greeks was lost.

During the 15^th century AD, the idea of Heliocentrism claimed the sun was actually at the center of the universe rather than the earth. This horrified Christian clergy who felt it contradicted the word of God. If “God created earth and man in his own image, then earth and it’s devout inhabitants, must be the center of everything”. Ironically Copernicus was a devout Church Deacon, but also worked on Astronomy. He was troubled by Ptolemy’s complex heavenly mechanics, but he found an elegant solution by removing the earth from the center of the system and instead replaced the center with the Sun.

Copernicus pointed out the size of the planets orbit directly correlated with its speed. Copernicus also insisted the earth rotated on an axis fully, every day creating the illusion of stars rotating around the earth. Afraid of Church reprisal, Copernicus refrained from publishing his theory until he was on his deathbed in 1543.

Copernicus’ book paved the way for Kepler, “The Champion of Observational Science”, who trumpeted to the world the Sun had to be the center of the universe.  Through his calculations he realized, that not only was the sun the center of the solar system, but the perfect circles were also a figment. Kepler improved on the Copernican system, hypothesizing that the planets traveled not in perfect circles but in elipses around the sun. He also noticed as planets approached the sun they sped up, and further away they slowed down. This data led to much more accurate predictions.

However, another riddle remained. How did the proximity to the sun influence the speed of the planets?

At the turn of the 17^th century Galileo took the theories of Copernicus and Keplar, that the Sun was at the center, and proved them right with a revolutionary tool, The Telescope. With magnification of 30 times, he saw the heavens more clearly than anyone had before beyond the naked eye, seeing thousands more stars, a cratered moon, and phases of Venus like the Moon, proving it revolved around the Sun.

Centuries of Church dogma claiming the earth was the center of the universe was evidently wrong. Galileo’s discovery seemed to undermine scripture, thus dangerous to the Church and thus to Galileo who proposed it.

Galileo, a devout Catholic, published his findings in a book called “The Starry Messenger” in 1610. Surprisingly the Church welcomed Galileo’s findings at first. Ultimately, Galileo’s downfall was not his inability to sway the Church to his way of thinking but rather this attempt at interpreting scripture independent of the Church. The Church concerned with perceived threats to its own power, could not concede biblical interpretation to Galileo.

In 1633, after Galileo published a new book championing a sun centered system, the Pope summoned Galileo to stand trial for heresy and forced to give up all his Copernican ideas before the tribunal in house arrest outside Florence.

Shortly before his death in 1642, he stumbled upon a clue of why the Sun influenced the movement of the planets. His last published work dealt with properties of falling bodies which always accelerated at the same rate no matter what their mass. Isaac Newton later explained the mechanism by which the planets moved along with everything else, as gravity. Although he understood the laws that govern gravity, he never understood Why it works.

200 years later, Albert Einstein would rival Newton’s genius, not only creating new laws of physics, but reinventing the universe. Born in Germany in 1879, Albert Einstein may be the most famous scientist that ever lived because of his discoveries of relativity, linking space and time.

It’s officially a New Moon in Taurus on April 21, 2012 at 3:18am EST.

The Moon moves into Taurus just after midnight on Friday (early Saturday morning), then hits exact degree with the sun 3 hours later for the New Moon.

It’s no surprise the tree’s are showing signs of coming back to life. Taurus is the first earth sign of the zodiac encouraging us all to get more connected to the earth. As well, Earth Day falls in Taurus on April 22. Getting in touch with nature, and reverence for life is a part of our most instinctive,  inner core desires.

Venus rules Taurus and reveals to us the beauty of nature in it’s many colors of delicate blooms. Flowers are not only beautiful, they also signify sensuality and fertility. Watching a flower blossom to some can be considered like spiritually seeing an orgasm in the plant kingdom revealed in visual splendor.

The New Moon in Taurus brings us back in tune with the earth and the Grand Trine in the earth signs including Virgo and Capricorn. The energy of the Grand trine is not as strong now, fading as the degrees separate. However Pluto will remain in Capricorn for a long time to come as he’s a slow mover.

This New Moon’s conversation with Pluto signifies if you haven’t gotten to your your spring cleaning yet, this is a good time to do it. It should be easy to find the emotional fortitude to clear out the closets. You’ll likely come across some interesting finds that have long been forgotten, buried in the hidden recesses of who knows what.

Clearing out what’s been overdue will help put your mind at ease, and relieve built up tension. You may also want to take a look at things that need tidying up that relate to your career, such as reviewing your resume for necessary updates.

If you haven’t started a routine of exercise now, you should at least throw in a bit of biking, yoga, push ups, or whatever you think you can handle. Having a healthy body includes healthy eating, but you’ve also got to get your blood pumping. Maybe lifting some boxes during your spring cleaning will reawaken you to feel more embodied. Exercise will do wonders for returning you to your body and Mars will help you summon the will to break bad habits and replace them with new ones.

By showing respect for your body by eating healthier, you are also showing respect for the earth and life. Choosing organic, non-gmo foods goes a long way to making a statement to the world what you believe but also impacts lives. Consider how pesticides have been linked to Bee Colony die off. Our choices impact the world in bigger ways than we’re often willing to admit. Every dollar you spend symbolically and literally makes a statement and influences what happens out there, in the world. You can find the balance. Saturn directly link us to our karma with this New Moon.

Venus in Gemini brings it all together with body and mind. The pleasures of the earth are scintillating, and your body will effect your thoughts, and vice versa dramatically now. Take that yoga to the outdoors and get the green grass between your toes. Breathe deeply and smell the earth while you meditate on how gifted you are to have this moment with the earth.

This is a great time to give and receive a massage, especially using grounding essential oils like patchouli, cedarwood, and vetivert. Rosemary would be great to refresh the mind and clear your thoughts.

It’s always wonderful to receive a treatment and get your muscles worked on, especially where you hold the most tension – back, shoulders, jaw, etc. However, it can be just as rewarding to give a massage to someone. It gives you focus on the earth element, the body, and encourages mindfulness to the moment working with your hands. It also brings out compassion and caring which goes a long way to give and receive.

Gardening would do you great too. Pick out a few new plants to bring to your space and get your hands dirty in the soil. Feel the earth between your fingers and under your nails. Respect the earth for giving you a place to live your life.

If you’ve never done a grounding visualization / meditation this would be a great time to try it out. It’s best outside on the grass, but can be done anywhere. Take off your shoes and socks and feel the ground beneath your feet. Visualize roots going into the earth from your body and breathe. What does it feel like? Keep doing this until you have a sense of grounding, letting your thoughts focus on the experience of being grounded.

Life includes finding your grounding; where you resonate most with a life well lived and worthwhile. This is another chance for you to get clear about the life you want to live. This new moon signifies expanding who you are, revealing your true potential and emotionally fulfilling desires. It’s about you giving who you are to the world honestly and abundantly, happy to be alive, thriving.

You can also tune into your perceptual imagination now for heightened awareness.  What would it feel like to be a singer, an actor, a farmer? What would it really feel like? Everyone has an individual perception of others from an external perspective, and attach that opinion to others as reality. But is it? Instead of considering who others are, and what their life is like according to the long-standing labels you’ve assigned to them, try to imagine what it would be like to be that person in a different way.

Imagine for instance, being a performer on stage doing exactly what you love in front of thousands. How empowered would you feel in that moment? Now what about a farmer who works hard, has a thriving family full of love and laughter. These people work really hard which we usually forget when we see the finished product on tv or on our plates. Everyone lives a life with a plethora of ups and downs ranging from pure elation to downright grief, which we can all relate to.

You don’t have to be a superstar to feel like one in your own life. It’s about feeling accomplished and thrilled with how you do it, why you do it and what meaning the work has to you and the lives of others.

Now imagine doing something you really love with the time you have here on earth. How would you feel if you were really empowered, alive, thriving at what you do through all the pain, sweat and tears, as well as the joy, rewards and excitement? What about a painter working at home hidden away, then finally revealed to the public the results of passionate, emotional work. Just how would you feel to be empowered in who you are and what you’re doing?

It’s time for you to look at your life constructively, positively, and resourcefully. Look at your potentials, and go at it with a blend of smart business sense along with joyfulness to express who you are meant to be.

With Saturn in opposition to the New Moon, it’s a chance to integrate your body and mind with more balance. You’ll find the solutions to problems and obstacles easier by being mindful and tuning into the earths abundance. Be resourceful, there are so many avenues to get where you want, you simply have to be willing to see them and use them for your higher good.

Bring compassion and spirituality to your life through the earth. Walks on trails, taking photographs of you and those you love will be heartwarming. Close ups of little habitats and new growth hidden away will be good for the soul and will help you remember how the earth can be an important resource of soul-food.

Reading up on lore related to the earth could bring the magic back to life from elves to fairies to gnomes. There’s nothing wrong with letting your imagination take you on a journey, no matter what your age. You never know what gems of inspiration and awakening you’ll find when you venture into the world of imagination. Personal revelations can be found in the most forgotten realms.

Consider how you can make your life more sensual, more smart, beautiful and strong. This isn’t a time for being stuck or stubborn, the astrological conditions are too uplifting to demote to the lower side of the bull. This is a lighthearted, fulfilling time. After weeks in a rare retrograde cycle, Mars finally moves into direct motion. The deeper understandings we have had into power, attraction, and change can now be translated into action. With Pluto going backwards this week, we ensure the change truly reflects a deeper state of heart. It will be a great week, enjoy!

ARIES (March 21-April 19):
Your ruling planet, Mars, goes direct after a long sleep. Slowly, you’ll find your determination return. Your motivation to demonstrate greater self-care as a form of self-love becomes a higher priority. You make an important decision guided by what your heart really wants.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20):
As Mars goes direct, Jupiter in your sign is preparing for another activating hit. For now, sit with this feeling of knowing that good things are heading your way. A desire for personal fulfillment is high, and you find it in faith in yourself and in your future.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20):

Happy Easter Weekend! This Libra Moon brings us in tune with the scales of justice. How does the meaning and symbolism of Easter speak to consequences of rules, justice and authority, rebirth, hope and transcendence?

Saturn has been infusing Libra with it’s energy for many moons now. The moon meets up with Saturn in Libra during this Full Moon phase and brings that energy into our lives.

The Sun is in Aries, directly opposite the Moon now. Although the Moon is watery, and the sun is at home in Fiery Aries, Libra’s air brings the Moon into compliment with the Sun. Light shines brightly on our intellect, where we can make more sense of our emotions by thinking things through with a more logical approach. We can see how our individual perspective paints the world around us.

Speaking of the mind, Mercury has finally gone direct a couple of days ago in Pisces, on April 4. All those mishaps, miscommunications are fading away with the misty wonders bringing new life to our minds. It’s a great time to relax and gaze at the clouds. What thoughts and intuitive ideas come up? They can lead you in an all new direction. Take the time to watch the clouds transform as they pass. It’s a great practice to balance your mind, which will help you tune into the Full Moon in Libra energy as well.

Be careful though. If your ego is on a pedestal you may need to practice self-restraint when appropriate. Keeping quiet when necessary, can maintain the peace and balance in your life.

We are all destined to grow, change and be challenged. Saturn shows us where what holds us back and through it we can assess how to break free and move beyond limitations. Where do you feel restricted in life, and would like to be liberated? Whether it be self imposed by your own doubts, or by something or someone externally tightening a straitjacket around your dreams, now is the time to get real about balancing your life for the better.

Do you feel judged by others, or do you judge yourself causing you to hold yourself back in endless ways? Do you break free from the established structure around you by revolt, anger, disagreement, or do you find a more balanced, smarter approach to moving in the direction you envision?

Many people choose the path of least resistance in life, and usually if you choose that you are doomed to fail. Why? The path of least resistance is to do nothing at all, to never face obstacles or have the drive to get beyond them. We know what doing nothing at all leads to… to a lesser extreme procrastination and lack of drive with nowhere to go and no desire to grow, and at it’s most extreme, complete inertia; death.

Here we see the structure of time. Time has it’s limitations, it’s structure and it’s order. What do we do with what little time we have? How do we find the balance of relaxation with effort to succeed and have ambition to accomplish before it’s too late? Do we live in a rat-race society or do we use our time more wisely to have a more fulfilling life?

Although we may all want freedom and liberation, we all live within a world of rules we must adapt to. This is where we find Libra’s balance. The wants and needs of our inner world, uniting with the demands of the external world. We must conform in some ways or otherwise perish. For instance, as a most basic example, the world demands we must eat. It is a most basic, primal requirement for our very existence. Yes we could choose not to eat, but you won’t last long that is for certain. The structure of the world is filled with all these demands and thus limitations we must live within.

This is your chance to come from an all new moment, to find the way in your life to see how accepting structure impacts you, and how to use it for your own highest good. You can choose to live from a place of complete freedom and do absolutely nothing at all leading you nowhere fast. Saturn brings in the need for grounding you in reality so you get things done. However, balance is needed or it gets too heavy. Move beyond the disorder that can come from having complete freedom, into developing a self-made focus for your life that will have tangible results. Limitations you may initially hate, can actually be gifts so you can create something more concrete.

Consider how self-control is of benefit in your life. We know, where there is no level of control, misbehavior can become disastrous. Absolute power corrupts. See now, as an opportunity to realize how you can regain control of your life decidedly in your best interests.

How is your karma working for you? What are your past debts, demanding of you now? Debt is an interesting subject, as it demands from us to find a balance between what we did in the past, with what we will do in the future, and brings it all together in the decisions of now. You racked up your credit card, now your bills tell you your future requires something of you to repay what was. To make it more complicated that debt mounts into your future with interest. A clever program set up by the structure of society that imposes a blend of self-imposed limitations with external limitations. You, are in the middle of it required to find the balance. It comes down to choice.

So, this brings us to Mars retrograde sharing his wisdom, which touches the Sun in Aries influence as well. It’s an important time to reconsider what you’re passionate about. What makes you feel strong, healthy and would enjoy doing as a regular work routine? How would you really like to spend your days?

Taking a bath or shower with Eucalyptus oil corresponds well with the astrological atmosphere. It will bring in the elements to soothe your mind, help clarify your thoughts, and tune you into a state of health and well being. It will help lighten the load on your shoulders, relieve tension and decrease stress. All important in feeling ready to move from a place of balance.

This is where you get to feel deep within yourself this Full Moon energy to guide you to make decisions and set yourself on a path of real goals. Consider each step that gets you excited about fulfilling your obligations in the world to survive, pay bills, etc., but to move beyond them by organizing your time for a satisfying lifestyle. A bigger, brighter picture of your life will emerge as you create a realistic plan that excites you about the possibilities. It’s time to move beyond the limitations, by acknowledging what’s been holding you back.

For those who find life too difficult to get through all the obligations, it can be detrimental to escape through use of drugs and alcohol. If you have a gloomy outlook these days, it will only increase with such behavior when crashing down from the momentary high. This will only exacerbate the condition of a confused and foggy state of mind. It’s important to set clear goals and make distinctions now, with responsible choice. To use the higher vibration of momentary escape to your benefit, meditation and daydreaming will be much more conducive to gaining insights that make a positive difference.

Write down your thoughts. It’s likely ideas can be broad now. With a little effort you can take bits and pieces and put them together in focused, organized points to see the stepping stones to the bigger picture more clearly.

The Moon is touching the area of life that wants balance now. Do what makes you feel more balanced. Swaying to extremes will make the pendulum swing wildly and will take longer to get back to flowing back and forth gracefully.

Those in relationships will do well to explore your interests together. Come up with a plan for finding more mutual balance in your lifestyle. You want to set up the foundation and structure of your life so you meet responsibilities and make room for freedom. Discussing career, ambition, and money can lead to understanding the strength of your bond. Venus moved into Gemini at the beginning of the month, which emphasizes the benefits of communication to overcome any obstacles in relationships. Bring compassion into the relationship, seeing the others point of view with respect and a willingness to listen.

Create a holistic vision of your life. The changes you make now may not come in sudden bursts. Slow, steady changes come with time and hold more weight. Enjoy them. Make them happen.
