In Greek mythology, Prometheus (Greek Προμηθεύς, "forethought")[1] is a Titan, the son of Iapetus and Themis, and brother to Atlas, Epimetheus and Menoetius. He was a champion of mankind, known for his wily intelligence, who stole fire from Zeus and gave it to mortals.[2] Zeus then punished him for his crime by having him bound to a rock while a great eagle ate his liver every day only to have it grow back to be eaten again the next day. His myth has been treated by a number of ancient sources, in which Prometheus is credited with – or blamed for – playing a pivotal role in the early history of mankind. During the Greek War of Independence, Prometheus became a figure of hope and inspiration for Greek revolutionaries
He (prometheus) was voluntarily demonized some say planned along with "god" the demonization or temptation to allow humans to become gods. Chiron the solar centaur healer then releaved prometheus of his duty. per wiki
His nobility is further reflected in the story of his death, as Prometheus sacrificed his life, allowing mankind to obtain the use of fire. Being the son of Cronus, a Titan, he was immortal and so could not die. So it was left to Heracles to arrange a bargain with Zeus to exchange Chiron's immortality for the life of Prometheus, who had been chained to a rock and left to die for his transgressions.[7] Chiron had been poisoned with an arrow (accidently)( conflicting stories hercules was tricked or this is confused he killed another centaur not chiron as chiron was his teacher..).belonging to Heracles so Chiron was already dying in the legends somehow either way so he stood in for prometheus.

Sometimes I wonder. My head has been going backwards and forwards from hearing warnings and prayers from Christian idealism to acceptance of the mind as a full creative force. Intellectually I side with the individual being able to explore infinity to his liking. But I am surrounded by people who are not interested.
I always wondered what it meant when I read "most people would disregard this as evil" because I totally thought that was out of place because I thought that what I was reading was simply logical and creative. But recently I have come across this with understanding that there are people out there who truly believe that so much of what I am passionately into is evil. And it is truly this way to them. I do wonder then what type of person they would think I am, or the million other people that are into the same stuff as me.
I started to paranoically have thoughts about only praying to God in a very approved of form. And that all chaotic prayer was nothing of the sort. Also I think a lot about "pleasure" and I mean joy of odd things can be a feeling of the devil. Also I am concerned about people assuming that if you experience a miracle, they first think and tell you, well it could be the devil. He is known for making miracles. I guess my mind has been meditating over these things and teaching me about them in its own way. But truly, I am offended by miraculous happenings being attributed to the devil. I think that they can occur when one knows how to work with energy, and it is very scientific and could be verifiably mastered by people who want to learn about it.
