I am trying to understand better the relationship between the great three religious works (quran, bible & torah) and just on face value something stuck out.....

(nothing major but interesting none the less) Bible-Torah-Quran all have 5 letters.

Recently I came across the belief that the human race was manufactured by a highly advanced race of beings from "planet x" and that we were created to be a slave race.

so if anyone can drop gems or jewels on the meaning of 5 in numerology I would greatly appreciate it.
    -Peace!

The number 5 to my knowledge is sacred to ancient religions representing the feminine energy, the Goddess aspect of the universe, the receptive. The 5 pointed star was later turned into 5 circles for the olympic games, originating in Athens, Greece, to make it less "controversial" when the Male aspect was considered supreme by the church. The goddess in ancient religions was associated with Venus, as part of mythology, and astrologers saw the luminous heavens as highly symbolic. Venus was also associated with Lucifer, (The light Bringer) as it was the brightest rising "star"/planet in the skies. Later, the overwhelming powers of the church related this (along with all ancient pagan beliefs) to evilness, and therefore associated the myth of Lucifer to Satan.

Also the number 5 is a holy number in sacred geometry as it creates one of the platonic solids, the dodecohedron.

As far as the numerological aspects to the number 5 in the three Western Abrahamic Texts I am not sure. Yes they do have 5 letters each and they are all rooted from the same source (Monotheistic religions descended of Abraham), so there could definitely be something there as to why. In the native language of the texts though, I am not sure the number of letters. I do know that the bible does have a lot of numerology in use, and the torah is very much symbolism and the letters in the hebrew language all have numerological values which plays an important role in the use of words.

Numerology does deal with Mythology and symbolism, but discussion of the aspects of the Bible, Torah and Koran that are Exoteric, and are not considered esoteric aren't really the focus of this forum. Mystical Christianity, the Kabbalah and Sufism are though as part of mystical aspects of these 3 religions.

This sounds like something of New Age Fear perspective, where there is the belief in some circles of "Reptilian beings" from somewhere within the cluster of the Pleiades in the constellation of Taurus. But this belief has to do with 12 strand DNA, and I'm not sure if it has anything to do with what you stated. I feel a slave race, is very much fear oriented, and blocks out the focus on higher truths of Love, Compassion, Unity, Understanding, etc., so for me, in relation to a spiritual path, it is contradictory to enlightenment.

    Default The number 5.

In my research it has been brought to my attention that the number 5 is the meaning of family. It is the representation of the connection a human being has to his/her family and the truth behind it. For example, if you know numerology, and you are studying a persons numbers, you will notice always, and I mean always that if they have a number 5 as any of their numbers, including sub-numerolgy, they will have a great connection to family, or be a family guy/girl.

You will also notice they are very family orientated. They cook and eat and talk and play and hang out and protect and pay attention with a lot of energy towards their family. It is very noticeable when you just ask them one or 2 questions about their family life, or outlook towards familly. The funny thing is that if they dont learn to accept this within their own personal fmaily, they will naturally find it through other's familys, and at times may be looked at as a part of other people's families.

If you have a 5 in your numerology, notice how your family life may differ than the person you know that does not have a 5, I think you will be amazed. I am confident in this matter, and at the same time I am still a little skeptic because for me it is not 100% verified, and I have leaned that to fully be in belief about something, we should not believe anything we read or hear, but rather listen and pay attention and wait for the confirmations. So, dont believe, take a look yourself and when you know, share.
    Freedom.

Infinity, Alpha & Omega, Magic The number 5 (part 2)

It has been brought to my attention today as well that the number 5, especially when having more than 1 of them in your numerology, has the role of drive and ambition and adventure. It is funny, because as soon as I discussed this topic in the forum above, I then today was introduced to an amazing numerologist and she had concluded that I actually have many 5's in my numbers and my name, I think 9 of them to be exact!!
Isnt that funny how amazing the mind works? Once we have opened ourselves to the understanding and acceptance of consciousness we then become more aware of everything around us. To an even deeper extent, if we put into our minds what we want and what we need, fueled with the proper intentions, we will begin receiving the truthful answers without having to look into any book! I believe deeply into this concept due to the actual events that continuosly occur in my life as my consciousness raises higher and higher vibrations every second, every minute, every day.

In my understanding, each period or civilisation needs to receive the truth in a way that is suitable to its specific conditions, planetary, cultural and physical. That is why we have different prophets, religions and religious texts.

The ancient Egyptians were highly aware of this, and we see for example that their God took the shape of a Bull during the period when constellation of Taurus rose at the spring equinox and the shape of a Ram when Aries rose at the spring equinox (precession of the equinoxes). This also explains why some of their temples were deliberately destroyed, or wall carvings defaced. The form that the truth was presented in had ceased to be useful.

Judaism seems to me to be centred around the concept of Being, Christianity around Love, Buddhism around Reason, Tibetan Buddhism around Faith and Islam around Hope.

At the centre there can be no disagreement.

From my perspective, religions are very complex, often covering the spectrum of the human experience and I find it difficult to place a single label as describing the core of the religion. I see the spectrum of fear, death and destruction to love, compassion, hope, transcendence, devotion, faithfulness and a quest for truth. I think these aspects are not ranked on different levels of a heirarchy in their position as roles in the religion, as they are focal points with powerful influences in their own ways, especially in their use as dogmatic tools, the more negative perspectives can be focal aspects.

But as discussed in another thread, Their esoteric centre, the root of all things, is the same. From Love springs all things and Fear to which all things descend.

But getting back to the meaning of 5 I would also add the Adam Kadmon, which was brought to my attention years ago by a Wiccan who wore a pentagram necklace. Because of the stigma often attached to Wicca by those who are not open to religious views, she felt it necessary to address the group she was speaking to as the piece of jewellery was clearly visible. She made the distinction that the pentagram represented the Adam Kadmon, 5 points, the symbol of the "Primal Human".

5 is the number of regeneration. The Monad is a point, the Dyad is a line, the Triad is a surface and the Tetrad is a three-dimensional volume. The Pentad is life itself.

The Quintessence (fifth being) of nature infuses the four elements.

In Egypt the five pointed star was associated with Set, the slayer of Osiris. Set had many of the attributes of what we call Satan: horns, coarse red hair, hooves and a tail.

In ancient Greece the five-pointed star was associated with Pan (All). Here, it was associated with fertility, fecundity, regeneration.

5 is associated with authority. Think of five-star hotels, the sheriff's star, flags.

The flower of every edible edible fruit has five petals.
