This area has been created to allow Witches, Wiccans, Druids, Shamans, Heathens, etc., to Introduce and get to know each other and get connected. There have been a large number of Wiccan's & Witches as well as some Druids & Shamans signing up to the site in recent months which we hope will find this area useful.

Merry Meet everyone. My name is Raynne (lunacat). I am (for the most part) a solitary ecletic Wiccan with Kemetic influence. I belong to the Fellowship of Isis but only participate in group ritual every once in a while. I have also practiced Toteg Shaminism. I am interested in magick, myth, crystals and the tarot. I live in the West LA(CA) area would like to get to know other pagans in this neck of the woods.

I've been searching around and noticed there are many Wiccan's, Witches and Druids on the forum but not a lot of discussion on the subject.

As someone interested in learning more in this subject I think it is a great idea to have a place welcoming and getting to know one another specific to these paths. I think introducing each other's interests in the area will help us get acquainted and share more.

I'm a novice in the area so would appreciate learning from the adepts and meeting other novices. I've read many profiles that show there is a great interest in the subject, and many have degrees, are involved in covens and have been involved in the area for many years while others are solitary practitioners. I think we have an eclectic group here that would benefit from each others knowledge and experience in the area.

Although I don't call myself a Wiccan, Witch, Druid... I certainly feel an affinity to these paths, from my limited knowledge. Maybe I am a Wiccan or Witch and just don't know it yet.... I have an interest in earth based paths. A love of nature. Love learning about Magick. I have read a bit on Druidry and certainly feel an affinity to this way as well.

I'd consider myself an eclectic solitary seeker, and have done a few mini rituals on my own, casting circles, and working with the elements. I do not have a specific deity of focus, but perceive myself as having a connection to Divinity as a whole, although I'm certainly interested in Pantheism, I haven't adopted the focus on one particular deity, but perceive myself as having a connection to Divinity as a whole. So somewhat I blend both pantheism and monotheism together. For favorite gods and goddesses of interest I'd have to point to Thoth / Mercury as well as Isis.

I'd like to learn more on Elemental magick. We've been doing four elements meditations in the mind and meditation group for the past few weeks, and because I feel an affinity to the tarot the elements are an area I'd like to explore more.

An area I'd like to focus more on as well are the pagan holidays, as I do enjoy festivities I'd like to feel more grounded in the celebrations throughout the year. I was born on Beltane so naturally I'm pleased to have a special liking for that day. I do love Halloween a lot as well.

I'm very much into herbs, and would like to practice herbal magick more frequently and get more in tune with this subject. I do use a lot of resins, smudges and incense on a regular basis for meditations and to change the atmosphere of my place.

I do not have a proper altar. My current fireplace mantle which I somewhat consider an altar has a large Buddha in the center and many of my crystals and stones. More on my altar and altars here.

I'm looking forward to progressing further on this path, as paganism has been calling me lately, I'd like to get more in depth on the various paths and move towards feeling more centered in my ways. Looking forward to hearing from others, hopefully we can develop something positive and influential here for personal growth.

It is a welcome forum for me particularly in the sense that I also feel a strong afinnity to these paths, and yet don't know where to start from, or don't feel motitvated enough(feels me with a sense of guilt though). I am fairly new to wicca, and relate well with this earth based religion, and pay tribut to Mother Earth as my Goddess. I am into healing meditation using guided imagery, I like mythology, tarot, and buddhism. I believe we all go to heaven to prepare for our next life. There is no devil, greed, envy, hatred these are the demons we need to conquer. My passion is mythical creatures like faeries, dragons, mermaids, unicorns, and believe they live in another dimension than us.

Greetings! Hope all is well with everyone. My path is a journey I started about 12 years ago when I received my very first deck of tarot as a gift. I was intrigued and curious having never experienced much of this way of life aside from what I had seen in the movies. So I shuffled them up, followed the diagram in the book that came with the cards and proceeded to create my own divinity. Naturally I laughed at the message in the cards but felt compelled to write it down anyway. I put the cards away and a year later when everything in my life was falling apart I was drawn to them again. I opened up the book and out fell the piece of paper that I had written down the reading on. Hmmm... I thought. Everything has happened just as they had warned. Since then I have learned to rely on the messages, subtle or blunt, that my cards tell me. I have also since bought several new decks, one of which is my favorite and never lets me down. I have read countless books, message boards, stories, and anything I can link to in the internet looking for my purpose and the meaning of my life and where I should be taking it. I have learned that listening to my "little voice" was the first thing I had to master. My instincts surprise even me sometimes. I have discovered that I am an empath and I am learning how to control it so as to not be overwhelmed by everyone elses emotions. That alone is the hardest work i've had to do but discovering what the white light can do in protecting me and my psyche has helped me immensly.
I love working with herbs, candles, and crystals. I find thier power astonishing and amazing and so comforting. I believe my purpose in life is to be a healer for those who struggle on thier own path. This can be very draining so I have realised that I must learn to meditate to clear my mind and my energy ties. I am also interested in learning more about astral travel and ooooooooh how I love my dreams! I want to start working on my dream journal and learn what they can do for me. I speak to loved ones and my animal guides in my dreams but sometimes it is hard to figure out the message until after the fact.
I am also a very proud mom and I need to figure out how to teach my children of my beliefs without making it sound like a Harry Potter movie . I was raised Lutheran which is very close to Catholic but not quite as strict which makes my path a touchy subject for certain members of my family. I am very happy being a solitary Witch. I do not feel the need for a coven although I have been blessed with a new friend recently who has discovered this path and has been coming to me with questions to learn where she needs to be. I love exploring this with her but so far have very little intention on starting a coven. I suppose the idea scares me a little as I am still learning and the difference of others opinions make me wonder how easy it is for so many people to get along in such a setting. I have yet to cast a circle but have an alter which I find comforting.
I am so happy to have found a place like this where I can share my thoughts openly and meet like minded people. I believe everything happens for a reason and finding this site will help me in my journey of this life. Blessings everyone!

I am Tanner (Tanzy) I am very interested in paganism and the idea of earth-based ideals. I have not yet "chosen a path" so I do not consider myself a practicing pagan. I am more of a curious onlooker at the moment. I am hesitant on picking my path as I am the type of person that once i make up my mind, I dive right in, head first.


Enyonam, I am like you in the fact that I too feel a strong affinity for wicca and Druidism. (I also am interested in Shamanism) I just do not know where to start. I kind of feel like I am walking around, with no actual destination in mind.

The 'right' path for you is the one that pulls your heart, mind and soul. learn what you can of all of them to gain a little understanding, but then just follow where your heart leads.

Merry Meet everyone. I am a practicing Wiccan though through my grandmother I do have some Shamanic Roots. Though my parents have tried to raise me Catholic, my heart tells me otherwise. I am going through a sort of study course for I want to be a high priestess one day and be able to teach others what I know. Currently I am learning about the elements and the affinities for the elements. If anyone wants to give me any tips or lessons I will not say no to the offer, and if anyone knows any informational books that will help me I would very much appreciate it.

A little about my path
I consider myself an eclectic celtic shamanistic witch who also is a healer and practices ceremonial magick. I have considered other "titles" such as mage, sorceress, druid.

I say eclectic because I also work with Hecate, my goddess Brid can be compared to the greek Hestia/Vesta. as well I beleive in babylonian sumerian creationism and mythos such as goddess and ancient astronaut theory because I believe in celestial bloodlines (mixed human irish/norman/gypsy). I also use star and angel magick beyond elemental. I have strong divination and clarsentience skill. I am a scholar and constant student in medicine and the occult who also is excatholic. At a time I considered being a nun (LOL), and even had a vision of Mary as a child.

I have a personal path and belief but would be interested in guiding others in a historical or resource sense. I would say I am a second grade if I was in a coven. I am still learning reiki, astral travel and shamanistic skill but am proficient in ritual and magic.

I would not consider myself wiccan because I am not a fundamentalist wiccan, ex the law of three and harm none are a guideline and not core belief of mine as I practice grey magic which is actually a more honest approach to low and high magic. However most popularized books on witchcraft are wiccan, I tend to edit those heavily but am well educated on the subject of wicca. I want to know the reason and history behing say making a circle. since wicca is a fairly new religion, some of the previous paganism, magic or trad beliefs have been lost in translation.

Having said that I believe neo-pagans a greater heading is also a religion such as new age, although not structured and contradictory, I believe in personal religion and have rejected organized religion, not to insult wiccans. My main interest is magick, although it is impossible to have without the foundation of spirituality. I prefer to say I am more eclectic because Wicca is a set structured religion.
