Eden in Egypt: A translation of the Book of Genesis out of the original Egyptian text by Ralph Ellis
I just started reading this book, but already I must say it has me captivated with the references of language connecting hebrew symbology to the symbolism Egyptian spirituality.
Right now I'm reading the first section relating the story of Genesis to that of the Egyptian gods and way of life. Horus and Ra, relating to the Light of the world dawning each morning as the symbolic act of a beginning world and the eyes of Horus relating to the Elohim.
It shows a lot of translations of Hebrew writings with that of the heiroglyphic writings of the Egyptians. Although I haven't read much, it is fascinating and undoubtedly going to shed much light on ancient esoteric mythology in this part of the world.
