Handmade Book of Shadows

Not sure where to post this as it's not exclusive to witchcraft and can obviously be used for whatever purpose you desire...

I came across the website of Alistair Graham (aka Archie Graham) who creates beautiful handmade books and albums in a genuine renaissance style and technique.

His site states:

• 'The Charmed series offered a perfect opportunity to reproduce age old techniques of bookbinding and art in new edition books. The studio now also make wiccan books to personal requirements and a range of journals and books newly hand made but with the look and feel of ancient books.'

As they're handmade and take some time to make they're not cheap - from circa €240/USD345 - but orders can be personalised to a large degree and from reading the feedback from some buyers it seems you receive full instructions on the care of the book and 'extras', with one person saying there were extra pages for photographs and pressed flowers.

What amazes me is the size you can request as one photo shows a woman who has received her order and it's half the size she is!

Thought I'd mention it despite the price as it could be something family/friends group together and buy for you or perhaps something a coven might be interested in.

I forgot to mention, they also produce a 'Vegan' range and state no animal products are used in the entire making of the book.

Interesting site, thank you Hugo! Some of the prices are rather extreme though.

Archie Graham's prices now seem very reasonable and I like that you can buy blank books, customise them and use them for your own purpose whether it's artwork, family history, flower pressing, poetry, BOS, personal journal etc.

blank books are very good, but there are similar books in some stores in Sweden but maybe not so big like these
