When working with the Tarot many people I have encountered ask quite commonly - "Am I going to come into any money"

This is a very empty question that can not be answered by the tarot in any concrete way, as this is a yes or no answer, and has no depth of reflection. The tarot works in meaning and symbols, and is much deeper than simply breaking things down into 2 possibilities, dividing the spectrum of duality.

The tarot is a tool for self reflection, and is a tool for those who are willing and interested in doing the work in their own lives to be the creative force in directing their life experience. For those who are simply waiting for things to happen to them without taking initiative in looking within their own psyches and characteristics they will not gain the benefit of the tarots wisdom.

The Tarot teaches and provides pathways of understanding for the individual to be a co-creator in their path of life. It does not show you the end result, it shows insights into pathways of ability to manifest that which one desires.

Those who work with the tarot should be willing to take a good look at themselves to find the path that provides opportunities for the answers they seek. The tarot speaks in archetypes, in reflections of the human experience, and through these insights into the self, avenues of wisdom are available if action and direction is implemented by those who receive it's wisdom.

Working with the Tarot reflects the necessity of the balance of life - it is about giving you keys of wisdom into being the creative force in your own life through directing the will with knowledge balanced with the flow of that which has a higher purpose. You as part of the balance of life.

When asking the tarot a question you must consider it with sacred value - not flighty unfocused attention. Asking can be summed up in a simple analogy of traveling, driving to a destination - If you are going to go on a long journey you need to make sure everything in your car is in working order, the tires are pumped, the windshield wipers are working, you have enough fuel, etc., because if you go rushing off without any forthought then you are bound to make more mistakes which will take longer to reach the destination.

Returning to one of the most common questions people ask "Will I come into money soon?" - One possibility of a real, meaningful question one may ask themselves is "What aspect of myself caused me to end up in the place of not having, and what can I work on within myself to bring about a positive change so I can have that which I desire?"

If you don't take the time to formulate a meaningful, clear question, the answer will not be as meaningful or clear. Ask yourself what place you are coming from when asking a question, emotionally and psychologically as well as spiritually. This will help you get clearer responses from the tarot.

I've done a few tarot readings externally from this site, for people already and I'm finding it quite rewarding. The response has been positive and I'm learning more about working with the tarot in a way that communicates with each individual in a unique way. Because I have a love of learning about symbols and enjoy helping others I believe it is a useful avenue of growth on my journey.

I have found though, that some querents do tend to be coming from a place of despair, doubt, a sense of lack within themselves and are looking for quick answers, on a very superficial level of understanding. I think it's important to let them know that they need to work towards a path that will bring about the outcomes they are looking for and that the tarot can help them see avenues, but they have the responsibility to do the inner work and get to the root to create change. It seems that some people don't want to do the work, or are stuck in their perspectives. So far, my discussions with them have been positive, and I hope that they are able to overcome their obstacles and allow the symbolic meaning of the tarot to reveal ways of deeper change that they can utilize.

I did a few tarot spreads today for personal questions and I am grateful for the ability for a reading to translate into a significant shift in my thinking patterns.

The tarot opens us up to deeper aspects of ourselves that can be unconscious and hidden.

I saw a dramatic shift upon seeing the deeper meaning of the cards speaking directly of my experience built upon my perceptions. Life is a series of cycles that are composed of remembering and forgetting. When we are within a situation we often don't see the sometimes simple cause of our ways of experience. This is a great gift that the tarot unveils as it speaks directly to our deeper selves, and gives us an opportunity to see of ourselves in light of the factors that create our experiences. Amazingly when these aspects are brought to the surface from our subconscious we have moments of remembering our true selves again.

The tarot speaks to the radiant emanations that build the world from the timeless spiritual archetypal energies that emerge from the realm of oneness for continuous manifestation in the physical realm. My reading opened the door to my deeper truth and the forces that are available to me through remembrance.

    How Divine The Tarot.

If you had asked me 10 years ago about tarot, I had no clue about it. To me it was just a fortune tellers trick, that somehow through the cards someone could tell me what was going to happen in my life and I was just some sort of bystander. I think that there is where the average person is, in today's world, we seek instant gratification, the easy answers.
One isn't necessarily born with courage, but one is born with potential. Without courage, we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can't be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest.

Many of the people I do readings for are searching for an answer, they feel a need to know there is something meant for them. And most of them do come from a place of deep despair. But I tend to find thats when the cards work best, when an answer is need on more than a superficial level. I always warn the querants to ask open questions (no 'yes or no' questions), and to feel the question from the heart. And while doing the readings I also warn that the outcome is always up to them. And quite alot of the time, the in depth readings carry that warning within the cards.

Many of the people I read for are pagans, so they ask quite deep questions. But some of my 'mundane' friends have had readings and while some of them felt their questions from their soul, some asked only very superficial questions, and I can honestly say, ask a superficial question, get a quick superficial answer from the cards. Ask a deep personally meaningful question and the cards will respond accordingly.
