What aspects should be identified in astrology for career?

Career vs. Money?

Sometimes people do jobs, just for the money, to make ends meet, to survive and to enjoy some of the things life offers when your wallet isn't empty. But that can lead to a routine of working and shopping that ultimately lacks fulfillment.

Other people focus on career because they want something that not only supplies a comfortable income, but something that is meaningful. Sometimes though, going after a career, doesn't equal big bucks, and there's a lot of struggle to balance what you love and wish to do with the necessity of keeping your wallet from going empty.

So what are the more important sign posts pointing to career choice that astrology indicates?

Are there indicators you've found in your own astrological forecast that have pointed to a change in career, or a good time to pursue certain endeavors that proved fruitful?

Or, does it simply boil down to good planetary placement for qualities you require for overall success, then from there, the choice is yours while some area's are supported and others require more effort to find the balance?

I suspect area's to initially look for would be where mercury and venus are placed for money matters, as well as creativity, what's going on in the 10th house of career and ambition, and what your ascendant is and what's going on in your 8th house. The moon placement too would be important I suspect. Any personal thoughts on this?

You might find it helpful to google vocational astrology. There are a few indicators in your personal chart, this also has to do with what your purpose in this lifetime is. So look in the 2nd, 6th, 10th house cusps. See first what sign is on its cusp, if the house is empty then its not an area of great concern, focus in this lifetime. If those houses are stacked then look at the what planets are in there and how they are aspected and look at the rulership of the sign they are in. Those are the best indicators. There are a few more, I can't remember off hand but hopefully this will at least give you a start
