Magical Mind

I've been reading a book that talks about how plants see our thoughts and respond accordingly.

I believe this is one of the fundamental aspects of magical work, as "All is mind" therefor thoughts interact with reality on a level that manifests itself on the spiritual and mental levels then move into form in the physical world.

The secret is not really a secret, it's been talked about in books for many many years, and has it's roots in ancient spiritual wisdom including hermetics. It's even seen in the bible "Ask and you shall receive."

It's been a part of reality for a long time, it's simply a matter of being conscious and aware of it and working with it as one of the laws of the universe. This is what magic is all about.

I also believe that if we can still look at the world through the eyes of a child we can find the magic in the world. Through the eyes of the child we can believe in ourselves and find the magic within and believe in ourselves that we have the power to change things.

My beliefs are that plants can and do react to the Energy of our thoughts. I believe that thoughts are real and that they have a profound effect on everything. Not only plants, but our own bodies, eachother, everything. I believe that thoughts can cause illness and wellness. Thoughts are amazing things….smiles

To comment on your "ask and it shall be given" again I totally agree with you. That is my belief as well, that the universe will provide…God willing of course. I wonder what "church goers" think when they see those words? I believe many of them don’t understand that it’s ok to ask…. they are too afraid. Too afraid of a vengeful God that their Church has created….sigh

Someday we will have an enlightened world, with more understanding about our spirituality, our thoughts and purposes, the energies and abilities that we have and the a love of God who doesn’t judge or criticize, but who supports and accepts us and Loves us for who we are.

I am reminded of the mind of God concept from corpus hermeticum; the universe is the mind of God and when God has a thought it manifests in the universe as a material reality.

We (humans) are God in microcosm so we can link directly to the mind of God and attune to the beauty of all things.

I have to point out here the 'god in microcosm' bit is from the emerald tablet, so I'm offering a synthesised interpretation here.

I believe everything has energy, positive and negative. Plants are living so would naturally respond to positive energy. They say playing music for chickens will lay more eggs. It also works for plants, birds, animals. its negative energy that depletes things. We just need to know what the positive enregies are. Like music, positive affirmations, loving attention and care. (it works for people too)
