Be wise as serpents and gentle as the dove
I think it would be great to have a listing of Jesus' sayings.
The Meaning of Life is to Eat the Apple - Me
Wisdom comes from asking questions
Nothing really matters, love is all we need. - Madonna
I predict the weather will be unpredictable this year - Sylvia Browne
An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind - Gandhi
If it doesn't make sense, it's usually not true. - Judge Judy
Be wise as serpents and gentle as the dove
matthew 5:39
jesus said"
But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person
collosians 3:12
Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to win their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord.
Luke 17:20-22 "Kingdom of God is within you." alluding to heaven as John 18:36 “My Kingdom is not an earthly kingdom..”
seek within
Matthew 6:33But seek ye first the kingdom of God
Love each other and stop judging nonchrisitans and supporting war
Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when there is the log in your own eye?
You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye"
(Matthew 7.1-5 ESV)
"You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you"
(Matthew 5.43-45 ESV)
Matthew 6:22-23 "The lamp of the body is the eye. If your eye is sound, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is evil, your whole body will be full of darkness. (New Testament in Modern English
Is this referring to the 3rd eye? I suspect so, although western spirituality doesn't speak much to the concepts of inner-mystical self realization, but rather looks outwards mostly. I have read that Jesus traveled to India and learned much of his wisdom from the Hindu's which explains the I am God... as are you belief.

^hehe dingding winner!
yes and also as a mirror or window to the soul, your perspective
One of the things I've been thinking about lately is how Western spiritual thought only see's self awareness, in the eastern sense, or new-age sense, as being all about "selfishness" or "worshiping ones self". I always wonder if the interpretation of "I am the way" actually meant the self/God within, that is within all things, rather than how it has been popularly interpreted as worshiping an external image of a person. However, at the same time Christianity is not first to adopt the idea of worshiping God as a human form. Hinduism has multiple avatars, such as Krishna, that is an example of God taking on a human form to teach people. In Christianity though, worshipers argue that while Buddha, etc., teach spirituality, Jesus is the only one who sacrificed his life to save us.

The final attainment for those on the Grail Path is the “I AM.” The egoless type spends the whole journey thinking, worrying, and doing for others without thought of self. (That is what makes them an egoless type.)
It is only when the base chakra, which is the last chakra to be cleansed, is filled with Light or Grace that they can now relate to the world from a perspective of “I” or self. This is a very high attainment for anima based personalities. However, the ego driven types interpret the “I AM” statement from their viewpoint and call it egotisical-heretical and kill those who reach this attainment. Jesus was only one of many who suffered this fate. There is the famous Sufi saint that was also killed for saying “I am God.”(Meaning - I and the Father are one.)
You won’t see crucifixion happening in Buddhist societies because the majority of people follow the Grace-based or Grail Path. They understand that what has happened is enlightenment and celebrate the moment of Buddha’s attainment when he says, “ I AM That,” while pointing to the ground that he is sitting on. Which is the same as saying, “I AM God.” or "I and The Father are one."
The road runs both ways.
What are you creating?

I disagree with this in realtion to your therad about only find salvation through me thread and save yourself and be saved thread, as in me=self.
Gnostics say that salvationism only came into effect with the catholic church and Constantine to make the church relevant.
