Interesting Video! Here is how I feel about this.

As far as turning off the TV completely, I don't feel it's 100% necessary. To me, it's a way to see how the world is transpiring around me, what things are changing that I need to be aware of, to protect myself, and those around me. I'm in a position where I know what's a red flag in the system. The video is 100% true. The mass of the American people are glued to the Television to what their favorite TV shows. Some Prime Examples are THE JERSEY SHORE. People are obsessed especially teenage, and young adults with reality shows. I feel that this is a very bad thing. The younger you are the more likely you are to grow up without sense of mind.
There needs to be a source out there preferably the internet until SOPA, or this PIPA passes (which if it does, the government has complete control over most of the population that has access to it) that can be a place of truth and knowledge. These forums give a great source of knowledge, and challenges the minds of myself particularly and I am sure the minds of everyone else.
