Hi to all,
Yes a newbie here but not to life. I'm 56 and I've been seeking all my life. Interested in almost anything that is enlightening, psychic, or paranormal. I'm a curious sort! I stumbled upon this site and "felt" a connection, so here I am. I look forward to being a part of this community.

Thank you all for the kind words of welcome and friendship here. When younger (much younger) I used to have dreams that foretold events, "I just Knew" things, things that later were proven to be true. From stories I've been told, both my Grandfather, Grandmother, as well as my own mother also "just Knew" things and have been witness to many psychic happenings. Example: My mother was on a trip and she angered my father a little when she decidedly got up and started packing to go home, 2 days early. She died of a massive cerebral aneurysm the day they got home, which was, 2 days early. She "just knew"....

I learned to shut this process down when I was a child and I feel like I've lost part of me that I want to find again. I've always loved to read books about anything and everything paranormal. I've always been intuitive and I have a great desire in my life to reconnect with this psychic side of myself to be whole again. I am being drawn to the crystal ball, I believe it is choosing me. They are a bit expensive and my heart is set on a real quartz crystal ball. For now, I have a voracious appetite for reading and learning more in-depth about psychic everything. It's like I've been starving myself and finally found a full buffet, Woo Hoo!
I will eventually get my crystal ball, but right now I think meditation and Tarot is a good way to get started. The meditation seems to helping me focus and connect again and the Tarot cards are giving me a good understanding of symbols to draw on when I am able to get a good crystal ball to use.

I truly feel and know I am on the right path. I also know it will take a good deal of effort and hard work for me to get where I want to be. I thank all of you for being here for me and others like me. For all of you more advanced in this endeavor, I thank you for lighting the path for all of us that are finding our way.

Hi Celtaur, and yes you have me pegged pretty well. Magical and mystical things of all kinds do tend to intrigue me, I can't deny that. I have such a curious nature that I have been known on occasion to be too curious for my own good. I'm hoping that by connecting with the more grounded and knowledgeable folks I've seen on this site will help my curiosity focus in a positive direction. It is my pleasure to meet you!
