What does Spiritual Astrology tell you?

What do you think we can "see" by having a spiritual Astrology reading or chart done? I have only a vague understanding of what the planets actually can tell us when getting an Astrology reading but I am learning slowly. I am looking for opinions on what everyone thinks about astrology readings. I'm sure there will be varying views, can't wait to hear them.

I did find a website I liked very much about this and many other things so I will pass it along.

PS. This is my first Thread Starter so I hope I did it right and hope it's interesting to others also.

Great topic. Grannywizard. I am sure there will be more knowledgeable people who can share their thoughts, impressions and experiences with you but I did want to pipe in and offer my 2 cents.

I think if you are able to find someone who really understands astrology then it can be a very useful, encouraging and practical tool. The thing is, I am not sure how many knowledgeable people you might find out there. I made a very small attempt to learn myself. It is no small feat. It is a huge undertaking, actually. And say I learned all the ins and outs-- well then I must add my interpretation to what I know. I would not necessarily trust just anyone to that task. I might offer the experience to someone learning, but I would take that interpretation much less seriously than I would someone who has really spent the time to.. prove themselves, so to speak.

To those who really know their stuff, I truly believe they have a wonderful gift to share with those who seek them out.

It is something I found very difficult to understand myself. It's a little like trying to read Shakespeare when you are still on Dick and Jane, ya know?

I got a free chart and it's a little above my pay grade to understand much of it, but I'm interested in learning. I also am learning the Tarot Cards and it just seems to come up so much in different places how all kinds of things are linked together.

Is there a difference between what's being called spiritual astrology and other astrology? I think a lot of people often consult astrology when looking for answers for everyday mundane life issues. Would spiritual astrology be more aligned with esoteric astrology? I do think that any reading can incorporate aspects of spirituality, but I always find the word spiritual to be so broad and not easily defined. From religious dogma to mystical enlightenment, there is so much to be considered when talking about spirituality.
