Of all the seasons I love spring the best. It holds the promise of new life and new beginnings.
Spring is coming.
I was just sitting in the sunlight through a window and heard a bird singing. I haven't heard this in ages, and is a sign spring is coming. This is a welcome song this morning. I just saw a sparrow, so this is sure sign that it is slowly starting to warm up again. They don't mind the snow so much though, so we may be in for a little while longer before the great thaw starts.
After all this snow, I'll be so pleased when the birds are back creating their new nests. I'm looking forward to planting, and being outside. What a great way to start a Sunday morning.
