As part of the the meditation group here at the forum, we practiced Mantra's together last weekend. It was certainly a great experience, but beyond the immediate experience I feel like a shift has happened within me since. I'm not sure if there are other influences going on that are impacting this shift, as one can never be sure of all the subtle energetic influences that are working in our lives, but I must say that I have come to a new found place of peace.
I have been feeling much light recently, much more laid back, relaxed and able to complete tasks in a way that does not involve the abundance of pressure I apply to myself. I'm finding that I'm letting things roll easier and don't get so preoccupied with outcomes and conditions. I have a greater sense of peace and detachment in a way that relieves my own self induced pressure.
During the mantra meditation I have found my thoughts to not wander as much as with silent meditation. I am experiencing Mantra meditation as bringing me closer to my source with more ease. It is allowing me to tune in easier, to reach that place of stillness and openness to the possibilities available from the place that is timeless.
I feel more content, more accepting, more able to let go and let things be as they are and trust that the universe is in divine order. I am feeling a joyous peace that there is much the universe has in store for me, not in some distant future, but in the now. I'm feeling at peace, and through that empowered in the moment.
