Splendor Solis (The Splendor of the Sun) is an alchemical manuscript, work of art attributed to Salomon Trismosin from the 16th century dated 1532-1535 of 22 colored plates depicting the symbolic Alchemical death and rebirth of the King. There are 20 copies worldwide held in museums.
