It’s a Lunar Eclipse at 7:30 am EST on Saturday June 26. Right now, the Full moon is in Capricorn and the Eclipse is going to emphasize this influence.

Challenges. Resistance. Limitation. Restriction. All sounding glum and dreary? Not so. Although there is a lot of potential for challenges, there is also energy there for a breakthrough, often influenced by what is restricting you. It isn’t going to be easy but transformation is inevitable. Be an observer to what’s happening while thinking about the bigger picture of your life. Things can happen that are really meaningful and memorable in your life during an eclipse.

There is a Grand Cross happening right now.

Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus are all in difficult aspects to the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Pluto. Whoa! Now that’s a lot of power and a lot of challenges.

The sign of Capricorn is accomplishment oriented and this Full moon in Capricorn is emphasizing these qualities. Climb that Mountain! But you may feel like you’re stuck at the bottom of that mountain by personal inhibitions and lack of confidence. It’s ok. We all feel inhibited at time and in some area of life we all lack confidence. Anyone who doesn’t recognize their own challenges as being real or true, and puts on a show that everything about themselves is effortless, aren’t really being honest and accepting of just how complex being human really is.

The time surrounding this eclipse, including the week before and after, even beyond, many may be aware they have a lot of goals and aspirations but are feeling limited in area’s of life ranging from money, self confidence, to limits people at home such as family are placing on you. It’s as though what we aspire to achieve and attain is kind of buried, and we want a break. What feels like an obstacle to you?

When these kinds of feelings of limitations are present, and we focus on them, we’re actually giving ourselves a good look in the mirror and getting real with what is possible for us. Looking at all the different angles and possibilities of what we can achieve is put into focus. Maybe you’d like to try branching out in a new area, a new job, a new place to live, a new………..fill in the blank. Think about your goals in a longer term range, and see how by reflecting on what is limiting you right now, you actually are building on the possibilities by finding out more about who you are and where you’d really like to go. You’ll be able to get clearer on what direction you want to take.

Many will have a more low-key emotional response to things happening than during other full moons. Capricorns are like that – more to the point and less about wallowing. A little grumbling is possible, well maybe a lot, but it doesn’t last long. However, you may see people acting out, being boisterous during a full moon. The acting out can be an indication of something deeper within being inhibited, and the acting out is just their way of covering it up and putting the focus on something else to keep it hidden.

If you feel uninspired because of a lack of confidence right now, be in the company of someone who is inspiring. Read a biography or watch a documentary on those who have gone through the challenges but have overcome the internal and external obstacles to achieve their desired success. You know, the most interesting people are those who have “gone through it”, and have overcome adversity.

If you’re feeling a little down and emotionally burnt about the challenges, just remember that obstacles create results. Obstacles are internal and external, and you may be your own worst enemy at times. Many people won’t do much or accomplish much unless there is an external influence giving them determination and a reason to push forward. Resistance gets us real with what we have to do.

Think of yourself as an evolutionary step, coming out of the water suddenly for the first time and stepping onto land. What a challenge and powerful transition that is in itself. The eclipse points to that place of transformation. Life isn’t about just achieving goals, there’s a whole process involved and life is the process. You get to experience every step of the way, and your life has meaning. Your life is like a movie; you have a story to tell, an important story worthy of your existence. All your trials and triumphs are there for you to recognize who you are right now.

Some people focus on the goals and miss out on so much from point A to B. Work hard for results, but the eclipse shows us that transitions happen naturally and progressively as they are meant to, so watch the process and enjoy it. They also show us that things can come up suddenly, things that we hadn’t expected arise. How you react, and what you do with what comes up, is up to you. There is always going to be that mountain to climb. For now, just breathe in the fresh air as you step out of the water.

You might actually have a headache around the eclipse and feel heavy within, like gravity is pulling on you more than you’d like. You may even have nausea or indigestion.

Visualizing your goals and ambitions could lead to real breakthroughs. Internalize. Feel that earth element in a beneficial way. Don’t rush things, there’s no point, it won’t move things any faster. Forcing things could just create unnecessary limitations in the process. Getting into your hobbies, or even thinking of some new one’s you’d like to take up could open up some revelations about what you’d like to achieve in the bigger picture of your life. Get down to earth with doing something enjoyable.

A quick tip – keep your bank account up to date. Pay attention to your online account with your bank. Make sure you didn’t overlook putting a check in the bank or paying a bill. Also, try playing the lottery. Even though there is a one in a multi-million chance of winning, it is an eclipse, and sudden changes from external happenings might make you the lucky one.

Communications could be totally off right now. Think before you speak and don’t blurt anything out from your emotions, especially with people at home. Home might feel strange right now. People may not get along, and may not want to. Be kind if possible. Even pets have feelings so make that extra effort to be nice, even when they are asking for all your attention and you just want to be alone doing your own thing. Even on a deeper level, dreams might be coming to you with messages. Write them down if you have a hard time remembering them. More importantly if you wake up from an emotionally draining dream, try to collect your thoughts and imagine a spiritual, more mystical energy surrounding you to clear away any negative feelings.

Don’t over-dramatize. Don’t overreact. It will make things worse.Your judgment might be off so take a step back before reacting.

Pessimism is possibly in the air. You might feel it for yourself or from others.

It would be nice to be Pollyanna with the astrology forecast, it is an eclipse and eclipses are supposed to be exciting right! Well yes, but all the challenging aspects with the Grand Cross are showing us that although there are challenges and we need to recognize what is, we can take a moment to step back and bring our positive efforts forward to counter the influences going on. By being aware, you’re ahead of the game. Much of life has to do with our responses and reactions to what happens.

At least, now you know, and can take the precautions when you encounter less than positive things happening, both within and before your eyes.

The G20 is happening in Toronto and the city is so quiet I hear. Protesters are far from the scene of talks and still bringing forth their views, but most of the city seems to be on vacation. This event happening during the eclipse, there will be breakthroughs but it won’t come without challenges.

Right now there can be conflict between feelings and rationality. Some people may speak up quickly, even too quickly, saying exactly what they feel without rationally thinking through the impact and consequences of revealing what is said. People who attempt to merge rational thoughts with intuition will experience more balanced reactions than those who jump to conclusions based on emotions.

You may also note people are thinking, saying and doing many things at once with great versatility engaging in many activities at once.

You may feel a strong desire to speak up about things you are interested in or have firm views in. Don’t blurt out other people’s secrets, or even your own if you can help it. Try to hold back a bit by thinking things through. Some people may talk your ear off, annoyingly so, like a chatterbox. But if you’re in sync with someone on a topic, the conversation will be really great, revealing a lot of deep revelations and bringing up meaningful ideas.

Don’t give away too many personal secrets to people you only know as an acquaintance, someone may use what you say against you, so be aware of potential motives strangers may have if you giving up the goods.

Try to listen as much as you desire to talk.

The quickness of responses can be used positively, for wit, humor and conversation. But don’t make fun of other people, it may hurt their feelings on a really deep level or they may have the fortitude to bring you down to size easily with their fast, poignant responses that may trump yours immensely. Their words may hit you right at the core, leaving you gasping inside, desperately seeking more compassion.

Be acutely aware of what you’re saying has an effect on others. You know, sometimes things said or heard can stick with people for a lifetime, changing them forever. Be sensitive to others as much as you would appreciate others being sensitive to your feelings. Even more-so if you don’t get phased easily, because others may be impacted significantly by a sharp tongue.

There’s a tendency to have a higher nervous energy right now, and impatience. A bit of worry isn’t out of the equation either, so ensure your words don’t instigate others to feel too drawn inward.

Some people will feel quite shy, compassionate and sensitive right now. Take the best of these qualities and see people for who they are on a fair and considerate level. Shy people can often have an aspect of lowered esteem in one area or another. Showing them you care and aren’t judgmental will make them feel better, more connected and confident that you really are considerate of their thoughts and feelings.

Many people wanting to stay home won’t be surprising this weekend. Some may feel secluded even when in crowds. A need for privacy is likely this weekend. Time alone is important. A May Full Moon in Sagittarius 27 at 7:07pm EST. Will it be wild over the next few days? Not like it was last month when the Full moon was in Scorpio. The planets are showing up in new ways this month which shows some easing of that tension. However, the days around full moon always brings an element of transition in how we feel.

With the moon in Sagittarius you’ll likely notice a feeling of expansion and growth is on the horizon and you may want to get away. Do it! Let loose a little and shake off those unwanted chains that have been restraining you. Give yourself the opportunity to feel more free, but not at the expense of others or your common sense. If you have too much need for freedom right and feel rebellious now you may want to hang out with an earth sign to get you a little more grounded so you don’t take a leap you aren’t really prepared for. But still let loose a little; get away from the house if you’re able to, or take a break from being around people who may be bringing you down too much. You’ll likely want to steer clear of any “Debbie Downers”, you’ve got the need for freedom of self and expression on your mind.

If you’ve been planning on taking a long, or far away trip from home, go with those feelings. You don’t necessarily have to go now, but having it on your mind and visualizing where you’d like to go will likely be beneficial now. Be expressive and open to possibilities because Sagittarius has the tendency to have fluctuating views of what is possible. ARIES (March 21-April 19):
Changes are inevitable. It is our ability to enjoy the twists and turns that allow us to utilize any developments that lead to our advantage. You are on the verge of an exciting new chapter. It requires that you start to shake yourself free of what is no longer useful in your life.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20):
We all want to feel like somebody. And the truth is, we all are someone of note to at least one other person. There is someone who now sees you as a star. Let their love and support for all you are empower you to take a bold step in the direction of self-trust. Demonstrate your confidence.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20):
Friendship allows us the experience of being connected to others and learn from their wisdom. Friendships allow us some of our greatest growth. There have been shifts and changes to your alliances. It is all for the best.

CANCER (June 21-July 22):
There is a result you desire, but the only thing holding you back from realizing it is your own fear of creating waves. It’s great to consider and care for others, but this time asks you to be bold and declare what is true for you.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22):
Every industry has its experts. However, even among experts, there is disagreement. It keeps any field growing to welcome differing viewpoints. This is a time to make sure you have the basics down. The time to declare a new direction is close.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22):

Well it’s a new moon again already. Time flies!

We know the new moon is a great time to get started on something new.

This month the new moon is in Aries. This energy will be around for a few days, and soon enough Mercury is going to be heading into it’s all so famous retrograde phase, but we’ll talk about that in a minute. Let’s see what’s going on with the Moon.

Moon in Aries is pointing to some possible friction, starting at the very root of your emotions. This is the tendency but because everyone’s natal chart is unique you’ll find these influences showing up in your life in various ways. Nonetheless something may ruffle your feathers, and it may be a quick jolt to your emotions. Taking this energy into a useful direction for you, consider using those passionate emotions and move them towards setting goals that will take you through to the end of the month to build something with confidence and focus. Emotions though really can make us feel unclear, unfocused and all over the place. It’s that watery aspect, but with a bit of fiery steam you might be able to use it to your advantage, just don’t blow your top in a sudden burst of emotional fury. You may be tempted to, easily.

You may notice your home life feels like it needs a bit more control, but don’t take that need to control so far you are the one ruffling others feathers. If you do you may start an argument instead of starting something more productive that the potential this influence can have. You may notice people have a tendency to be snappy in an uncomfortable way, but on the positive aspect some quick witted humor may make you feel great. Remember that if you notice others getting too forceful – try to turn around the conversation with some humor. You may surprise yourself how witty you are.

Focusing on being creative during this new moon has great potential to strengthen your confidence. Whatever you’re passionate about, really go for it. Use those emotions to fuel your creativity and you’ll find pleasure in it. You may also find pleasure in being a little flirty with someone you’re interested in. Don’t go overboard though, don’t be too aggressive, this may not fuel the passionate flames of desire you may want, but rather instigate an unpleasant argument. Just be natural.

Although this is a really great time to initiating a new venture, it may not last long. Aries shows us there’s a lack of follow through, so you may have great ideas, and powerful emotions to direct those ideas but it can be difficult to have anything to show for it if you don’t force yourself to be persistent and determined. Think of the energy right now like a match. It sparks up quickly and powerfully, but the flame quickly burns out if you don’t use it to start a bigger fire or light a longer lasting candle. Take the match and use it before it burns out.

Mars is currently in Leo, with the Moon in Aries (ruled by Mars) you’ll likely note the connection right now about your identity, your sense of self and this is strongly connected to your roots.

In your dreams you may find some symbolic imagery giving you messages that are important related to your culture, family, mother and home. Write anything down you intuitively feel is a message worth noting, but your memory may be short after waking up so keep a pen and paper ready by your bedside. Some messages may help you further self actualization, so don’t let the messages slip if you can help it.

Now that you’ve gone within, through dreams or introspection by utilizing the moon, and found more confidence and self awareness stemming from your roots you may notice in a couple days a bit of waning in your ability to share these aspects of yourself. Although the moon will start to grow towards the full moon, Mercury will be going retrograde which can be a bit stifling for your outward expression of your internal feelings and thoughts. However, this may give you the opportunity to reassess the new moon’s aspects on an intuitive level rather than sharing the aspects of yourself outwardly.

Mercury is currently in Taurus, a sign of pleasure and feeling in a more physical, embodiment way. Food, creative arts, and anything that draws strongly on your senses may be reassessed right now with Mercury going retrograde. Mercury in Taurus can be good news with the new moon’s energy. You may rekindle a passion for those things that make you authentically feel good and this really blends well with the creative impulse the new moon has brought. But, again, because the new moon is in Aries, the flames of desire may be strong, but not burn long and Mercury retrograde offers us a time to go within a bit more and reevaluate ourselves. Rather than being overly expressive during April, you may feel you are communicating more within your own thoughts rather than with others. Take advantage of it. Although Mercury retrograde isn’t the best time to be starting new projects or signing important documents, it’s a great time to reinvent yourself.

You may feel like the plans you want to go for are really wanting to burst forth at the New Moon but are quickly halted within a few days, at least in making progress on an external level, but keep working on them within. A lot of good things can come about when we regain focus by going within.

Enjoy the new moon while you can and enjoy spring during Mercury retrograde. It’s the perfect time to reconnect with nature. Take some time to use that Taurus energy, go for a walk and smell the flowers. Take a hike in the forest, enjoy the sun on your skin. Breathe deeply and feel good. Venus is currently in Taurus too, and is Taurus’ ruler so there’s extra emphasis on the pleasure principle from art to love, it’s a supportive time to feel good. When you’re out for that walk, see the beauty of nature as a masterful work of art.

Those of you growing up in the 80′s may remember this version of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland story. With the new version Alice in Wonderland by Tim Burton out, which has had mixed reviews, this older version will likely satisfy those who love the mystical, dreamy story. Quite possibly, with the exception of visuals, this may be one of the best, recent, film adaptation of Alice in Wonderland to date.
