THEME OF THE WEEK:
Recent events have encouraged us to be honest about our reliance on fossil fuels. The sky indicates a week where frustrations about the Gulf coast situation becomes evident, but so do real solutions. It will be a great week, enjoy!
ARIES (March 21-April 19):
You set an important plan into motion months ago, but are questioning if it’s what you really want. You are committed to seeing it through. Start with admitting that much to yourself. Next, create a plan so that you are also cultivating new ideas and inspirations.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20):
Style is extremely personal. Our tastes are truly our own. However, we know when someone has something that appeals to us. A new role model comes forward. It is their confidence that is most attractive. You already have it in you.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20):
You are a shoe in. Your feet are wet. You have the experience and are right for the job. Now, stop making excuses for why you can’t do what you really want to do. Your past has established the foundation and you have paid your dues for this exact situation. Be bold and take the chance.
CANCER (June 21-July 22):
Many of us will accept an entry-level position if we believe it could lead to better things. We use that stage to learn all we can and pay our dues. But eventually, if we are progressing, we grow and move on. You have made the most of what was once an awesome opportunity. Now, you are ready for the next level.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22):
We are capable of altering the way we think. By listening to music, or diverting our attention, we can focus on what we can do. There may be a lot you don’t control now, and other things that frustrate you. Don’t dwell on them.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22):
Money matters are on the agenda. Your current concerns can always be there. They seem free-floating. The tension now will be surpassed and you will find a new source of income that makes you very happy.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22):
Studies have shown that moderate amounts of red wine are good for the heart. However, for someone with an allergy to alcohol, it would have the opposite effect. The advice you receive may be well intentioned, but it misses the specifics of your unique situation. Take it in the spirit given.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21):
A voice is rising within you. You feel anything but common now. In fact, you may suspect that you are special. It’s not about your ego or about self-importance. It’s just you becoming aware that you have something unique to share. Back up your new-found assurance with action.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21):
Our personal motivations for keeping a journal are as varied as the people who write. Some want to document their lives. Others want to affirm where they would like to be. You have the blessing now of gaining clarity through writing. Sit with paper and let your stream of consciousness flow.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19):
Certain cities hold mystique. We feel called to them for the characteristics that are well known. But each place has subtleties that we can’t know until we walk the streets. You think you know where you are heading. The reality will prove different, but more rewarding.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18):
Every performance is a chance to feel a rush of excitement or debilitating nerves. It comes down to how much you like the attention. You are increasingly feeling like there is something deep within you worthy of being seen. Events now affirm what you already sense.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20):
Grass stains are a possible side effect for flocking with abandon. A spontaneous moment asks you to jump in and throw caution to any consequences. It will be fun, but as you sense, there may be some slight inconvenient outcomes. Is the fun worth it?
