Weekly Astrology Horoscopes for August 24 to 30, 2015 and the Full Moon in Pisces

Weekly Horoscope Overview
Weekly Horoscopes for each Sign are listed below after the overview:

Written by Symbolic Living

The Sun is now in Virgo so it’s time to focus on getting down to earth and doing the work to get our lives in order. Jupiter and Mercury are also in Virgo now further emphasizing the importance of Virgo's qualities being brought into our lives.

We are growing towards the Full Moon in Pisces on Saturday, which promises to strip away delusion. It's okay to fantasize but we also need to be grounded in reality.

On the personal level this can mean getting your office in order including your paperwork, files, emails and the like so you can work more efficiently. For your home, cleaning out those closets and cabinets, dusting those shelves, and putting everything in order for easy access is recommended. It's a promising time to work on a business plan.

If you require work services, this is a great time to research companies and contact the right, qualified people for the job and set up appointments. If you’re going to school, it’s time to focus on ensuring you get your course necessities in order, and your loans and registration forms signed and submitted. This is time for making sure all the practicalities are set up as they should be.

What are you good at? Do you think you are you good at anything? How could you hone in on your skills and make them useful to yourself and to others? Perhaps you’re creative and find pleasure in decor, arts, and design, or you are an analytical thinker, great at precise measurements, or you're good with your hands. Now is the time to put a plan in place to develop your talents and become an expert.

On a grander scale, we all know that the economy has been taking a tumble recently and is in topsy turvy territory these days worldwide.

Venus retrograde trines closely with revolutionary Uranus also retrograde. Even though trines are considered easy aspects where life can run more smoothly, with Uranus always expect the unexpected, especially when retrograde. Uranus in Aries can certainly signify new, radical changes that shift the landscape ahead. As well, we have been in the Uranus-Pluto square for some time. The last time there was a Uranus-Pluto square was in the 1930s.

Although a trine in astrology is an easy aspect it is not without its faults. The problem with easy aspects is that people can too easily think everything is going to be just hunky dory, and simply go with the flow to the point of being oblivious. It has been famously said by Ayn Rand that, You can ignore reality, but you cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality."

Venus rules money, so of course when she’s retro we need to be more attentive and reconsider how grounded we are in our financial picture or not. It’s too easy now to get distracted by entertainment, summertime fun and spending frivolously, when a more responsible approach is required of us.

Venus also rules love of course, and lately there have definitely been some big surprises, in the relationship sector which have become quite public. For many, the ups and downs in the world of relationships and dating have been downright shocking. Where people thought things were fun and easy, Venus and Uranus retrograde connecting has shaken them up. Yes, I am referring to the Ashley Madison shocker. Cheaters aren't really in love... what a public wake up call that is. Venus is in Leo, and Leo refers to dating, fun, fame and publicity. A string of famous celebrity breakups and relationship turnarounds have certainly been on display these days.

As mentioned, the Sun entering Virgo is reminding us that it’s time to get more focused on what’s really going on in the real world. However, Virgo is a sign that is so attentive to detail that there can also be a tendency to be obsessive, critical and worried. This would be the lower vibration of Virgo, which can therefore lend itself to the needed push to work towards the positive.

I don't think I have ever known a single person that did not worry about something or other. This is a good time to face your worries. Shine light on them. What do you worry about and why? And is it worth it? A regular routine of meditation practice is recommended to get deeper inside your own mind so you can release your worries. Self-help practice can help you move beyond your fears now.

Let’s talk about the lower vibration for a moment as it is a part of our holistic reality. Even though Jupiter is most usually considered positive, bringing blessings to our lives, there’s more to the story than that. We live in a dynamic universe of positive and negative forces that mold and manifest our reality. Without both positive and negative forces this world would not exist. The yin and yang of existence is what holds everything together, pushes everything apart and manifests as the dance of life.

Life is not all peaches and roses and rainbows, we all know that. If it were, there would be few books to write or dramatic plays or motion pictures to get drawn into. Although it would seemingly be lovely to have everything just perfect, this world and this life are much more complex and interesting than that - that’s for sure! So, as the Sun in Virgo would recommend, be smart about your reality, acknowledging both positive and negative so you can make best choices. From there you can make better decisions, face your fears, and create a plan to move you beyond them.

Getting back to the stock market for a second, Jupiter likes to expand and grow parts of our lives, and being in Virgo, it is certainly possible for worry to grow too. But, those who have foresight, knew what was coming along because the indicators have been there for a while. Too much excess debt, naturally requires a correction. One way or another something needs to be done to be responsible for that debt.

Mercury rules the mind, communications, commerce and trade, writing and relates to journalism as well. With Mercury in Virgo there can certainly be a tendency for the stock market to correct itself because Virgo likes things to be set right and in order the way they should be. Virgo likes to look at all the details and get real about what’s been going on. Sometimes that means uprooting issues and getting to the core of what’s going on so a more effective approach can be considered and set in place.

But also, we all know that what the media presents becomes a large factor in the global consciousness. When there is fear about the stock market spoken of in the media, of course people will start to worry and when the media states things are fine, people often believe that as well. As Mercury knows, communication is a powerful thing. With the Pisces Full Moon, we get a glimpse into the difference between what is fantasy and what is reality.

Mercury and Saturn connect on Wednesday this week, and can bring an intensity to our way of thinking.

Saturn is at the very end stages of being in his journey in Scorpio for the past few years where the transformation of truth, wealth, debt, and karma are in focus. Again, Mercury rules commerce, so we can expect lots of talk among those who usually don’t pay much attention to the stock market, finances and debt. More people will be thinking about such things with greater attention now.

The Sun and Jupiter meet in Virgo on Wednesday at 6:02 p.m. ET. This is a day where we look right to the core of issues, right into the details and figure out what it all means in the bigger picture of our life. How can we take any situation we are personally faced with and shed light on it so we can grow from here?

Jupiter doesn’t really like finer details, so there is a dichotomy here, a bit of a contradiction. Jupiter likes big picture thinking, having faith and can sometimes get lost in a dreamier version of reality. So now we need to marry the detail oriented thinking mind with our big picture ideas and see what comes up.

From a spiritual viewpoint this can be a day of great awakening. Since ancient times the Sun has represented Divinity and Jupiter was the greatest god in Roman culture. With such strong symbolism of divine power, these two joining could bring us to new realizations about our spiritual path and philosophy on life. In Virgo, they can inspire us deeply to have more structure in our spiritual practices, where we may wish to practice personal rituals that demonstrate greater faith, trust and reverence for divine wisdom. Spending some time in the Sun to honor the process of life and your place in the world is recommended.

In practical day to day concerns it can help us find solutions that take the tiny details into consideration, so that we can intelligently benefit the larger picture of our lives. Mercury in Virgo further enhances analytical thinking. So, this is a great time to write down all your ideas, make to-do lists and make plans that help you set the stage for growth towards your bigger ideas. It’s a great time for brainstorming.

Mercury leaves Virgo and enters Libra on Thursday. A more balanced approach to thinking comes up. Worrying should ease up a bit. We are set to deal with situations and other people with a fairer approach. Honesty is the best policy.

It’s officially the Full Moon in Pisces on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 2:35 p.m. ET.

As we’re working our way towards the Full Moon this week we’ve had a lot of finer details to work out and expand upon, especially regarding getting more efficient order and structure in our lives.

Jupiter is very close to the Sun in Virgo. Just a few hours before the Full Moon in Pisces hits precision, the Moon and Jupiter share their energy across the sky. This has us feeling more conscious of what we are learning. Daydreaming about bigger ideas and concepts can especially reveal the higher meaning of your life as we head towards the Full Moon. This is a SuperMoon as well, the first one of this year. Having faith in your potential helps you step closer to making your dreams a reality.

The Sun in detail oriented Virgo, reaches out to the moon in dreamy Pisces for the Full Moon. It’s time to let go of your worries, plans and responsibilities for a moment and just reflect on the cosmic meaning of your life. Allow yourself to slip into that dreamy place where your imagination unfolds and brings you closer to the stars for a time. Life needs that kind of balance. By navigating between the two we can be more clear in our day to day lives about where a dose of left brain and right brain thinking works best.

It can be a highly emotional time with the Full Moon in Pisces as well. A sense of giving, helping and sharing are encouraged by emotions now. There is sensitivity with this Full Moon, so if you’ve been waiting a long time to let your tears flow, this would be the time to release that energy. Having compassion for yourself and others can create a shift that brings divine wisdom into your way of life.

Drinking plenty of water, and enjoying baths, showers, or a swim will help your energy tune into the energy of this Full Moon. Listening to music, writing or reading poetry, and working with the flow of paints, especially watercolors, can bring you to a new level of consciousness by tapping into your subconscious, creative mind. From there, you can bring your elevated feelings back into the real world to influence your practical steps forward.

Less than 4 hours after the Full Moon, Neptune in Pisces is joined by the Moon. This is where fantasy and delight can take us to another level of awareness. Pondering dreamscapes and brilliance that is otherworldly will breathe new life into your spirit. Tapping into the experience of unconditional love, compassion, and healing of the highest order of the cosmos and beyond can bring you into unity with your highest self. Give yourself a moment with the cosmos within yourself and all around you, and feel the divinity of existence.

For those of you who may have been sabotaging yourself in some way, or if you have addictions of any kind that are a crutch for you to escape reality, this Full Moon can bring a turning point. Eureka moments are possible that seem dreamlike, as if your life is part of a cosmic play where synchronicity arrives and shows you the fog you've been living in. With the Sun in Virgo, the best way to invite these types of experiences in is by putting in the effort and working towards a better way to live more fully in your life.

An excellent practice to explore and experience at this time would be Tai chi. A meditative, prayer like state of mind while feeling the flow of energy around you has great potential to create a real shift in your perception of reality now. Spending some time staring at the Moon and stars in a daydream can change your energy and bring you realizations that are heaven sent.
