Your Daily Astro Advice Horoscope for September 28, 2016

Your New Weekly Horoscope for September 25 to October 1, 2016 is available here.

The Moon is now in Virgo. Health and self care is a priority today, as is having a healthy emotional connection to the work you do.

It’s a great day to practice an instrument or your voice, or to listen to comforting or nostalgic music while you work to uplift your mood.

An emotional attachment to the bigger meaning of your life is present for many of us today. What you do, how you do it, and why you do it can help you realize the karma you are creating for yourself now.

If you feel like you are blocked or limited in any way to learning or growing in your skills, extra effort can prove rewarding today.

Those who are politically motivated or have business plans can find today’s efforts can bring a step forward in change from the bottom up, impacting effects from the top down.

Personal Note: Later, today my mother is having surgery which she just told me about last night. She has pre-cancer cells, and is having an invasive procedure today. I don’t know much about her condition. From what I can tell it could be pre-cancerous cells of the cervix. However my researching online has not indicated that the type of implant surgery she is having today is related to pre-cancerous cells. She hasn’t fill me in on many of the details and only talks minimally about it as she naturally doesn’t want me to worry. She has always shied away from explaining anything that has to do with reproductive organs as well and has never been that comfortable discussing anything relating to sex. It embarrasses her so the discussion on the procedure is limited. So, with a lack of her sharing specifics and medical terminology, and I'm not a doctor, I’m not absolutely clear on the issue. What I do know is that if this procedure does not provide the results the doctors are looking for, the next step is a hysterectomy. Naturally, this has me feeling emotional, thinking about my mother carrying me in her womb.

I know I am generalizing here, but one of the things I have noticed about her generation through my personal experiences and observation, is that their trust in authority is much greater than those of us of a younger generation. This could also be why she has fewer details to share than I would hope. I know for her when the doctor says something she will simply trust that they know best and not ask many questions. I’m just the opposite, and will ask a million questions until I’m clear and satisfied with the information, so I am fully aware of what is going on and what I'm getting into. If I were to have surgery and have to be put under anaesthetic, you can bet I would be fully aware of the reasons and details beforehand. I have seen and heard of too many coming out damaged after going into the hospital and I’m highly protective of my health and well being.

I mention this, not only because the Moon (mother, protection) is in Virgo (health, procedures) is timely as part of my astrological thinking, but also because I am hoping that if any of you would like to send along any positive, healing energy with the intention of positive results for my mother, I would really appreciate that so much.

I speak with my mother on the phone every day, and her having surgery today, and there are always risks with surgery, reminds me that one day, those phone calls will no longer be a part of my life. Thank you so much for your positive energy and wishes.
